Flash/Unlock Your Modem:

When you unlock your Modem, it will only be unlocked for the PC you typed the Code in. If you want to use the Modem with another PC, you will need to go through the process of unlocking it again. Whereas, if you Flash your Modem, there is no need to Unlock or Flash it when using it with another PC.
